Head of Finance (Station in EMEA)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This is an opportunity for a Finance professional who has solid financial management and accounting knowledge, strong communications and desire to assume challenging senior finance positions in EMEA. The Head of Finance will assume financial management at small- to medium-sized overseas offices overseeing a wide range of activities and matters in its functional area as well as integrating with other sub-functions. He or she will be a key member of the global management team, implementing financial measures to support the group to achieve its strategic growth and financial targets.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and lead a growing Finance & Accounting team in local office
• In charge of all rounded finance functions including business partnering, system implementation
• Provide insights for business planning and analytical purposes and work closely with the CEO and Directors
• Streamlining and improvement of existing workflow
• Take part in coordination and management of teams in closing process as the company and team expands
• Provide leadership in the development of short and long term strategic financial objectives with alignment with the Group’s objectives and directions.
• Further growth projects assigned by the CEO
• Evaluate and advise on the impact of long range planning, introduction of new programs and strategies and regulatory action for the business units in local office
• Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.

REQUIREMENT:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines with professional qualification
• At least 15 years of working experience in Accounting related fields in a sizable organization and at least 8 years in supervisory or managerial level
• Big 4 trained + Commercial Experience (Classic profile) is preferred 
• Excellent interpersonal skills and fluency in spoken and written English
• Overseas working experience is a MUST
• Mature, Stable and ability to work in a fast paced and flexible environment, self-driven
• Previous experience in a HK Listed company would be advantageous 
• Strong interpersonal skills and business partnering ability
